seventy three

Ok, I'm feeling better like I'm back into a groove here. Last week I saw Brendan Gilliam's facebook status saying something about training for the sectionals, and I sent him a message to see if they were setting up a blog or something that I could follow to see what other people are doing. He sent me something yesterday asking how training was going and that they would have something put together soon. The guy is just that--an absolute guy. Met him at the cert and he was real cool, very helpful, and talked with everyone that came up to him. I'm looking forward to seeing what he's doing (even though I know we're on two completely different levels here).

I think it's time to start doing some crazier shit with my training--I'm going to have to suck it up and run more, I need to do more with the sandbags, med balls, and some stupid ass high rep workouts like the one from .com today. I'm going to pull some stuff from Freddy C's training blog from OneWorld.

I'm also open for suggestions for workouts that anyone thinks will help expand my work capacity over broad times and modal domains.

morning
deadlift - 95% x 1 x 5 - 405#
I was going to do 80-90% x 3 x 5 but got up to 405 and left it for singles....oh well

knees to elbows 3 x 10 using rings

breakfast (from work)
scrambled eggs
sausage
hash browns
black coffee
fish oil

Lunch
front squats - 80% x 3 x 4 - 225#

salad w/ cheese, onions, tuna, peppercorn dressing
whole milk
fish oil
a few chips (not great, I know)
